NUTRITION DOESN'T HAVE TO BE COMPLICATED
Regimented diets, strict meal plans, and costly supplements just don't work! In collaborating with me, you'll never see a meal plan, a calorie limit, or a "restricted" food. It's not enjoyable, and it simply doesn't work. Rather, we'll collaborate to develop realistic modifications in your diet and lifestyle that leave you feeling empowered, strong, and capable! Working with a nutritionist should also be fun! We will work together to improve your nutrition status without feelings of judgment or guilt.
VIRTUAL NUTRITION SERVICES
We're all living in a busy world! All counseling is conducted virtually at Stacey Simon Nutrition; whether you choose to meet via video or telephone, you'll never have to worry about coming into an office to achieve your goals. We can meet from your living room, from your lounge chair on the beach, from your granddaughter's house, whatever is convenient for you. Because that's the entire point of our time together: to help you meet your goals! And if you choose to show up in pajamas to your virtual nutrition appointment, it's just fine with me!
OLDER ADULTS HAVE SPECIFIC NUTRITION NEEDS
Did you know that older adults have different calorie, protein, and micronutrient requirements? As we age, our bodies change, and so do their needs! As a Board Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG), Stacey is a specialist in older adult nutrition. You can rest assured that you're getting the nutrition you need to stay strong and nourished, and to live your most fulfilling life.
GENTLE NUTRITION WITH NO DEPRIVATION
It’s easy to get caught up in the latest diet trends and fads. In working with Stacey, you’ll learn to listen to internal hunger and fullness cues instead of relying on external hunger signals (it really doesn’t matter what society thinks a portion size looks like, or what your cousin did to lose those pounds). Stacey is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and she believes that you can be healthy in any size body, so we won't focus on numbers on the scale. We will focus on how you feel in your body; nourishment and fuel should make you feel good, not hungry, guilty, or frustrated! We'll also focus on making nutrition changes that you actually enjoy!
